Q: What is the history of Exceed how did you get started?

Exceed started in 2002. We were a group of consultants working for Verizon to build out a data center for the company. We provided all levels of computer, network, and IT support, and the team which became Exceed Digital worked really well together.

For example, we were easily able to troubleshoot and solve all of our clients' issues, leaving them very happy. As a result, we formed a company of our own to handle these types of issues, and offer support to our own clients.

Q: What services does Exceed provide? What is your niche within the industry?

A. Primarily, we provide computer networking and IT support for small to medium-sized business in greater NYC, Long Island, and New Jersey.

We pride ourselves on the personal relationships we create and maintain with our clients. We don't just go in to an office and fix a virus on a computer, we also determine why it got there in the first place, and how we can prevent it from happening again. We also advise our clients how to stay current on technology, and we explain everything so every level of computer user can understand.

Q: Who is your target market?

A. Our target customers are small to medium-sized businesses in all industries. We have clients in the legal, healthcare, retail, and insurance fields, and we welcome clients in all other fields as well.

Q: How does your company promote its services?

A. We are either recommended by word of mouth, or our clients come to us through the ads we place on Google.

Q: Where do you see Exceed Digital Small Business Services going in the next few years?

A. I see us continuing to expand as we add a diverse array of clients to our list. We are also beginning to provide different, more advanced types of services to our clients, such as document management systems and custom software solutions.

Q: What are you working on right now, any new projects or developments?

A. Right now, we are supporting a large retail chain with over 60 stores. We are creating and enhancing their point of sales, security and accounting systems.

Q: How has the economy affected Exceed?

A. People are spending less, and as a result they are looking for more value. We've actually grown during this period because our services are essential, and people realize that spending money on what we provide saves them money in the long run. It's a win-win for everyone.

Q: What is your inspiration for entering the technology world?

A. We are all in love with technology! It's not only our job but it's our hobby. It's part of our lives; we love it and we love promoting it, breaking it down into easy-to-understand terms, and helping other people utilize it.


Q: Does Exceed have any existing relationships with other Dezer tenants?

A. Not yet, but we are looking forward to meeting the tenants and getting to know the businesses and people in the Dezer marketplace.
