  Pratzon Art Restoration specializes in the care and treatment of fine art, specifically paintings from the 19th and 20th century. We remove varnish and surface dirt, repair small and large tears and line to new canvas if necessary. Sensitive in-painting is done to replace lost paint. Smoke and water damage treatment available. Examination and documentation for insurance claims available, and "house calls" for on-site examinations can be done upon request.

• HISTORY:

  Jill Pratzon founded Pratzon Art Restoration in 1990 in Soho, and moved to 122 W 26 St in Chelsea in 1997. An artist herself, Ms. Pratzon was trained at Parsons School of Design, the University of New Hampshire and apprenticed at Lubo Kralicek Restoration.
